Why does the protocol always start with the nervous system — not hormones?

Because you cannot regulate hormones in a body that is under threat. The nervous system governs the HPA axis — the command centre for cortisol. When cortisol is elevated, it directly suppresses progesterone production, disrupts thyroid conversion, drives insulin resistance, and reduces oestrogen receptor sensitivity. This means that prescribing hormonal supplements or doing gut work in a dysregulated nervous system produces short-term results at best, and none at worst. This sequencing — nervous system first, always — is the Sravana Methodology™ IP. It is why our protocols hold when others stop working.

My practitioner comes from a different discipline to me. How does that work?

How are practitioners matched to me specifically?

Your Seed diagnostic generates a five-system map that identifies your dominant patterns — whether that's a nervous system in chronic dysregulation, a hormonal axis with specific fluctuation signatures, a gut–estrobolome imbalance, a stress–inflammation loop, or a mind–body suppression pattern. Practitioners are matched by their depth of training in your flagged systems. Someone with a primary nervous system flag will not be matched to a practitioner who specialises exclusively in gut. The match also considers your location (for time zones), your language, and your stated care preferences.

What does a session actually look like?

Sessions are 60 minutes via secure video. Your practitioner will have reviewed your systems map, your 12-week protocol, and any notes from between-session tracking before you join. The first session is typically a deep-dive into your pattern — not a history-taking exercise, because the diagnostic has already done that. Subsequent sessions track your system responses to the protocol and make adjustments. Between sessions, you have async messaging and your practitioner posts updates to your protocol notes. Nothing falls through the cracks because the platform is built around continuity, not appointments.

Can practitioners work with my existing labs, GP notes, or previous diagnoses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Practitioners can integrate your existing bloodwork, imaging reports, specialist letters, or any other clinical documentation into your systems map. They are trained to read standard NHS or private panel results alongside the functional picture — which means they can explain why your bloods come back normal while you still feel terrible. The Sravana Methodology™ maps the functional state of each system, not just whether individual markers fall within population reference ranges. Your history and your labs add resolution to the picture; they do not replace the systems assessment.

What happens if I am working with two practitioners?

Coordination is built into the platform. Both practitioners see the same systems map, the same protocol, and the same tracking data. They add notes that are visible to each other. Neither changes the other's notes — they annotate their own domain. You experience this as unified care: your functional medicine practitioner focuses on your hormonal axis and gut; your somatic therapist focuses on your nervous system and mind–body. They are addressing different systems in the same protocol rather than pulling in different directions. You never have to be the bridge between them.

How long does it typically take to see results?

Most women notice changes in sleep and energy within two to four weeks of starting the nervous system phase of the protocol — which is always first. Hormonal patterns, gut function, and inflammatory markers typically shift over six to twelve weeks. Mind–body and identity work unfolds on a longer arc. This is not slow — this is the time it takes to actually change a system rather than suppress a symptom. The protocol is sequenced correctly: changes in sleep quality signal nervous system regulation; regulated nervous system unlocks hormonal repair; hormonal repair improves gut metabolism; gut improvement reduces inflammation. Each step enables the next.

Yes. Srav Health is PDPA/GDPR-aligned. All health data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell data to third parties or use it for advertising. Your systems map and session notes are visible only to you and your matched practitioners. You can request full data export or deletion at any time. Your Integrative Health Report is yours to share with whoever you choose.
